Prestige Extreme Machining & Manufacturing is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support our manufacturing and fabrication operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has basic knowledge of hand and power tools and is interested in developing their skills in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working with tools and equipment in a hands-on shop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled tradespeople, builders, and machinists with daily shop activities.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with assembly, disassembly, fitting, grinding, drilling, cutting, and other general shop tasks.
• Move, stage, and organize materials, tools, parts, and equipment.
• Assist with preparing materials and components for builds.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and leads.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform general housekeeping and shop support duties.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and positioning materials as needed.
• Inspect work and materials for obvious defects or issues.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, mechanical, or skilled-trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of common hand and power tools.
• Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning new skills.
• Ability to read and follow basic instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be willing to learn and take direction.
• Automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
