Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tool/Fixture Builder to join our team. This role is critical to our operations, as the successful candidate will be responsible for producing machine-assembled tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges used in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tooling and fixture building, with a strong background in either automotive or aerospace sectors.

Responsibilities:

·      Create and assemble complex tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges by interpreting and analyzing blueprints, sketches, specifications, and technical descriptions.

·      Utilize advanced machining techniques to produce high-quality components, ensuring that all tools and fixtures meet stringent industry standards.

·      Accurately assemble tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges, applying detailed knowledge of materials, machining processes, and assembly methods.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the tool-building process, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

·      Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to ensure that all tools and fixtures meet the required specifications and are delivered on time.

·      Conduct thorough inspections of completed tools and fixtures to verify that they meet all design and functionality requirements.

·      Maintain detailed records of all tool-building activities, including measurements, adjustments, and modifications made during the process.


Qualifications:

·      Extensive experience in the automotive and/or aerospace industries, specifically in the development of tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.

·      Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

·      Deep understanding of machining processes, materials, and assembly methods, with a proven track record of producing high-precision tools and fixtures.

·      Prior experience in the assembly of complex tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges is required.

·      Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to perform precise calculations related to tool building and machining.

·      Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that all tools and fixtures are built to exacting standards.

·      Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.

·      Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
