Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and independent CNC Machinist to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and machining a variety of parts, ensuring they meet precise specifications and quality standards. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can complete tasks without supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts as per job prints or provided data.
- Prepare the machine at the start of each workday, including powering it on and performing necessary checks.
- Machine parts to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct minor machine maintenance with all company policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and your co-workers.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work 2nd shift.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC mill operation, setup, and program editing.
- Proficient in 3 and/or 5 axis machining.
- Ability to independently perform setups.
- Experience in vertical milling.
- Some understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Must possess own tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience with Fidia, Fanuc, Heidenhain controllers, Haas, and Tebis viewer.
- Aerospace experience a plus.
